What This Extension Does
The PaintCostPro DripJobs Migration Extension helps painting contractors migrate their business data from DripJobs to PaintCostPro. It reads data from your DripJobs account (while you are logged in) and sends it to your PaintCostPro account (while you are logged in).
Data We Access
- DripJobs data (app.dripjobs.com): Your jobs, sales pipeline leads, and contacts — only when you click "Start Migration"
- PaintCostPro session (paintcostpro.com): Your login session to verify your account and upload the migrated data
Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
- We never store your DripJobs or PaintCostPro login credentials
- We never send your data to any third-party servers
- All data transfers go directly from your browser to your PaintCostPro account
- No analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind
- No data is retained after the migration is complete
How Data Flows
- You click "Start Migration" while logged into both DripJobs and PaintCostPro
- The extension reads your DripJobs data directly in your browser
- The extension sends that data to PaintCostPro's import API using your existing session
- Your data is stored in your PaintCostPro account
- No copy of the data is kept by the extension
Permissions Explained
- app.dripjobs.com — Required to read your pipeline and contact data
- paintcostpro.com — Required to verify your login and upload migrated data
- activeTab — Required to interact with the DripJobs page you're viewing
- scripting — Required to read data from DripJobs pages
- storage — Used only to temporarily hold scraped data during the migration process
Your Rights
- You can uninstall this extension at any time
- You can review the source code — it is not obfuscated
- You control when the migration runs (only on button click)
